Safety is no accident * 30 Sec Read
General contractors, trade partners and anyone who walks onto a jobsite is in danger of something. A trip hazard, heavy machinery, falling, sharp object and the list could go on for days. What are you doing to protect yourself and the individuals you work with? Safety is often overlooked in the residential construction industry. Why? Cause it cost money, it takes time, it goes against “how we’ve always done it.” Stand up to your trade partners, you are the general contractor. Give them push back about safety, let them know you care about them and want to see them come home safely to their families.
Construction is dangers, plain and simple. Make sure you’re taking the time to make your construction sites safe. Over time your partners will just learn that’s how it’s done and they will come to thank you for it in the end. Build safely.
