What is the health of your job? Have you taken the necessary time to look at it on a bi-weekly basis. When you started this job what were your projections for budget, schedule, etc…Are you hitting those projections? As a general contractor you need to have a spot on understanding for the pulse and health of your job. A lot of variables in residential construction and it’s easy for those variables to knock you off course and that’s okay but, you need to find your way back home eventually. We do this through job health reports. Where is your schedule, where is you cost, how can we stay on track or steer the ship back in the right direction? These are the questions you and your team should be discussing on a bi-weekly basis as the very minimum. Know your jobs. Do a job health report.
