Construction is a Process * 1 min Read
Building a house or any construction project takes time. As a general contractor you should know that by now. There will always be surprises but, if you keep your eye on the end goal of close out and certificate of occupancy then you will have a clear path and vision house to complete your construction project.
Life is very similar. It’s a life long project and process. If you have a set of plans (an idea) and you know there will be delays to the schedule and potential increases to the job cost, as long as you have your vision set on the end result it will eventually find it’s way to completion. Tony Robbins says: “most people over estimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in 5 years or a decade.” The bigger the construction project, the longer it will take to build. If you have big dreams and goals for your general contractors business, great, but give the project time to get completed. Don’t cut the corners, build it right and eventually you will have the house/building (life) you’ve always wanted to live in.
