As a residential general contractor we have moving parts on the daily. After a long weekend it’s very easy to get sucked into the “top priority tasks” but, we have to make sure we check in with the overall project. What are our trade partners working on this week, what does our schedule look like, what items do we need to order? What are the items we need to check in on? Every Monday morning sit down with your team or yourself and spend 20 minutes collecting your thoughts on what is coming up for this entire week. Make sure you’re dialed in first thing Monday morning and the rest of your week won’t be so reactive. Check in.
